Our Tour
This Tour is for the Mid Century Modern Enthusiast or anyone who just loves architecture. Whether you're interested in history, style, or aesthetics, we have created this tour for you. Our tour is self guided, but we will have docents and volunteers at each home that are knowledgeable and passionate about our fabulous tour homes architecture and furnishings. They’ll make sure to answer your question and if they can’t, then the homeowners will be on hand to offer an answer!
Our Story
At ABQ Mid Mod Home Tour, we are passionate about providing a unique and authentic Mid Century Modern Tour experience to our customers. Our journey here in Albuquerque began in 2019, when our founder, Ted Janka and his partner Chuck Honse noticed a lack of a Mid Century Modern Architectural Tour in Albuquerque. With their expertise creating numerous Mid Century Modern Tours with “Modernism“ in Palm Springs, California in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and love for Mid Century Modern. They decided to create Albuquerque’s first Mid Century Modern tour in 2019, with plans to do it every year, but we were forced to take a break during COVID. Last years 2024 tour was a huge success! We are back with ABQ Mid Mod Home Tour in 2026 and each year to follow, for all to enjoy in our wonderful city that we call home!
